is Salavaat ?
Salavaat is Mention which we Pray GOD to
Greeting Islam's Holy Prophet Mohammad & His Pure Progeny.
It
is usually believed that if we read Salavaat
on islam's holy prophet Mohammad
for a certain number of times,
our sins
will be forgiven and so on and so forth.
If we see the Quran ( Holy Islam Book) , we come
to know that it is not only human beings who are to do
Salavaat
but Allah
(GOD) and His angels as well as the prophet [s.a.] also do
Salavaat on human beings.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ
وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا
أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا |

Translate 1:
allah and his angels praise and venerate the prophet.
believers, praise and venerate him and pronounce peace
upon him in abundance. |

Translate 2: surely allah
and his angels bless the prophet; o you who believe!
call for (divine) blessings on him and salute him with a
(becoming) salutation |
|
Translate 3: lo! allah and
his angels shower blessings on the prophet. o ye who
believe! ask blessings on him and salute him with a
worthy salutation. |
Translate 4 allah and his angels
send blessings on the prophet: o ye that believe! send
ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.
